Target Highlights

  • Over 17,000 metres of historic drilling with highlights of up to 8.7% Cu and 112 g/t Ag in Copperlode target2
  • Hosts non-compliant Historic resource for Copperlode A Zone of 425,600 tonnes of 1.56% Cu and 33.60 g/t Ag1
  • Surface geochemistry outlines SGH anomalies along east-west structures that transect the volcanostratigraphy.
  • Historic deep IP targets yet to be followed up on.

Project Overview

The Arrow West project lies within the cycle-III volcanics of the Confederation assemblage near to the prior operating South Bay Mine which produced 1.6 million tonnes at 1.8% Cu, 11.06% Zn, and 73 g/t Ag over a 13 year mine life3.

The project hosts non-compliant historic resource at the Copperlode “A” zone of 425,600 tonnes at 1.56% Copper and 33.60 g/t Silver1. Multiple stages of faulting transect the property with both base metal and gold targets developed for follow-up greenfield work programmes.

Geological Context

The Arrow west project lies within the Cycle-III volcanics of the Confederation assemblage – host to the South Bay Mine with historic production of 1.6 million tonnes at 1.8% Cu, 11.06% Zn, and 73 g/t Ag over a 13 year mine life3. The Arrow West project lies ~27km to the southwest of the South Bay mine and covers the Copperlode and extensions of the Arrow mineralized trends. The Copperlode trend contains the Copperlode “A” target that hosts a non-compliant historic resource of 425,600t @1.56% Cu and 33.60 g/t Ag1. Subparallel to the Copperlode trend the Arrow trend lies to the southwest and is host to Total Metal’s Arrow Zone with a 43-101 Inferred Resource of 2.1 million tonnes at 0.66% Cu, 4.74% Zn, 17.92 g/t Ag, and 0.66 g/t Au4,5.

Two deposit styles are targeted in the Arrow West project and include 1) Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) that target pauses in volcanism along stratigraphic horizons parallel to the Copperlode and Arrow Trends and, 2) gold and precious metal endowment where permeability enhancement has occurred.

Over 17,000 metres of historic drilling has focused on the east-northeast striking Copperlode trend for base metal mineralization. Gold and Silver endowments evident in drilling and surface sampling at the Copperlode are interpreted to correlate with east-southeast trending second-order faults that cut the cycle-III volcanostratigraphy. Soil sampling by previous explorers indicates anomalous gold values near to the surficial projection of the faults and are primary targets for greenfield follow-up.

Next Steps

  • Develop and implement surface geochemistry program to refine drill targets
  • Select preliminary drill pads, permits are pending.
